Here is this week’s CFSC Staff Appreciation!

With a strong desire to learn and a positive attitude, Rosa fits right in at Community Foundation Sonoma County where she receives consistent support from her colleagues. Throughout her time at the Foundation, Rosa’s knowledge of nonprofit organizations has greatly expanded along with her pride in her work. Rosa is proud of her contribution in creating meaningful work that creates a positive impact on Sonoma County communities.

Rosa is part of the Foundation’s Internship Program that began in November 2020. During her time with the Foundation, Rosa has assisted in multiple projects including CFSC’s end of the year Holiday Giving which led to providing Petaluma Christmas Cheer with its first grant from the Community Foundation.

Apart from her role at CFSC, Rosa also holds a position at Adopt A Family of Marin, a nonprofit organization helping the community in Marin County.

This past spring, Rosa received three associates degree from Santa Rosa Junior College, while also being an SRJC student employee, dedicating time to student government and working with 10,000 Degrees to help plan activities, all while maintaining a spot on the Dean’s List for two years.

Rosa will be continuing her education this fall studying for her bachelor’s degree.

During her down time, Rosa enjoys baking, journaling, and spending time with her family or her two dogs, Perrywinkle and Canela.
