
Welcoming New Team Member Mark Geary
We are delighted to welcome a new team member to the CFSC staff: Mark Geary, who joins us as our new Controller. Joining the foundation at an extraordinary time, Mark has jumped in with enthusiasm and care for our community. We are so glad to have him with us.
Mark Geary joined CFSC as a Controller in March, 2020. Mark was born and raised in Riverside, CA, before moving north to study accounting at UC Santa Cruz. Mark has over 10 years of experience in nonprofit accounting and financial leadership, including the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County. A Sonoma County resident for the past 6 years, Mark and his wife enjoy taking their children for outdoor adventures with their dog, and Mark loves exploring Sonoma County’s live music scene and getting outdoors to play disc golf at Taylor Mountain Regional Park.
