At Community Foundation Sonoma County, our board of directors plays a vital role in shaping our vision, strategy, and impact. We are deeply grateful for the dedicated leaders who give their time, expertise, and passion to guide our mission of creating a just and thriving Sonoma County.

Welcoming New Members

We’re thrilled to announce four new leaders joining CFSC to guide our work into a new era of philanthropy.

Vince A. Figueroa
Vince Figueroa is a Certified Public Accountant and the founder of Figueroa CPA Inc., a Santa Rosa–based firm serving clients across Sonoma County. A first-generation college graduate and Sonoma State University alumnus, Vince is deeply committed to education and community service. He serves as President of the Elsie Allen High School Foundation and on committees for the Career Technical Education Foundation and Luther Burbank Center for the Arts. Recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Top CPAs in 2025, Vince lives in Santa Rosa with his family.

Bhupinder “Sonu” Singh Chandi
Sonu Chandi is the founder and CEO of Chandi Hospitality Group, a leading hospitality and real estate development company headquartered in Santa Rosa. Since launching his first restaurant after graduating from San Francisco State University, Sonu has built a thriving enterprise that includes well-known brands such as Beer Baron Bar & Kitchen, Bollywood Bar & Clay Oven, and multiple Mountain Mike’s Pizza locations across the North Bay. An immigrant from India, Sonu’s entrepreneurial success and community engagement exemplify his belief in hard work, innovation, and giving back to the community he now calls home.

Kevin Jaggie
Kevin Jaggie is a Managing Director and Investment Officer at Wells Fargo Advisors with nearly 30 years of experience in financial services. A Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and PIM Portfolio Manager, Kevin specializes in helping clients achieve their financial goals through thoughtful, long-term planning. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from San Diego State University and has served as board chair for several nonprofits, including the Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation, Boys & Girls Club of Sonoma, and Sonoma Valley Education Foundation. Kevin lives in Sonoma with his wife, Sanette, and their five children.

Michael Ricioli
Michael Ricioli is a Principal at Baker Tilly. He leads the tax practice for Santa Rosa office, specializing in accounting and tax services for clients in the wine, agriculture, manufacturing, and retail industries. A Sonoma State University graduate, Michael brings more than two decades of experience serving California businesses, with expertise in vineyard and winery taxation. Deeply rooted in Sonoma County, Michael’s passion for the local wine industry stems from his family’s 60-acre vineyard in the Russian River Valley. He is a member of both the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs.

 

We were also honored to welcome three new members earlier in 2025 whose leadership and experience have already shaped and strengthened our work.

Nicole Lim
Nicole Lim is the Executive Director of the California Indian Museum and Cultural Center, where she has worked since 1996 to elevate Native American perspectives through exhibits, educational programs, and youth leadership initiatives. A member of the Pomo/Miwok tribes, Nicole founded the award-winning Tribal Youth Ambassadors program and co-edited On Indian Ground: California, a guide for educators of Native students. She holds advanced degrees from UC Berkeley and the University of San Francisco School of Law. Nicole serves on numerous state and national committees focused on education, equity, and cultural preservation, and teaches in Native American Studies at UC Berkeley and CSU San Marcos.

Dr. Angélica Garcia
Dr. Angélica Garcia serves as Superintendent/President of Santa Rosa Junior College, where she leads with a deep commitment to equity, student success, and community partnership. An Aspen Institute New Presidents Fellow and appointee to President Biden’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, Dr. Garcia brings decades of experience as an educator and social worker. She previously served as President of Berkeley City College and Vice President of Student Services at Skyline College. A proud Chicana and first-generation college graduate, she holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from San Francisco State University and lives in Santa Rosa with her wife and two daughters.

Tim Tesconi
A lifelong advocate for Sonoma County agriculture, Tim Tesconi has dedicated his career to preserving farmland and telling the stories of the North Bay’s farming community. A third-generation Sonoma County resident and former Press Democrat agriculture reporter for 33 years, Tim went on to serve as Executive Director of the Sonoma County Farm Bureau until his retirement in 2015. His leadership extends across local agricultural organizations, including Sonoma County Farm Trails, the 4-H Foundation, and the Santa Rosa Junior College Ag Trust. Tim’s lifelong passion for agriculture continues to shape Sonoma County’s rural heritage and identity.

Honoring Retiring Board & Committee Members

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the board and committee members who are completing their time with us and moving on to new endeavors. We are deeply thankful for their years of service, leadership, and dedication to CFSC’s mission, and we’re excited to see what comes next for them—whether it’s travel, welcoming new grandchildren, or continuing their leadership here in Sonoma County. We have been so lucky to have them.

Pete Golis
Pete has served on the CFSC board and Community Impact Committee for many years, helping to shape the foundation’s Resilience Fund following Sonoma County’s fires and floods. A respected journalist and community leader, Pete brought invaluable insight and perspective to his service at CFSC. We are deeply grateful for his long-standing leadership and commitment to our community.

Steve Rabinowitsh
Steve has served CFSC through both the Community Impact Committee and the board for many years, including a decade as chair of the committee. A longtime public servant and community advocate, Steve brought thoughtful leadership and deep insight to the foundation’s grantmaking. We are deeply grateful for his steady guidance and enduring commitment to strengthening Sonoma County.

Chris Dobson
Chris has been a trusted leader at CFSC for more than three decades through his work on the Investment Advisory Committee and other key roles. His financial guidance and steady stewardship have helped ensure the foundation’s long-term strength and sustainability. We are deeply grateful for Chris’s decades of service and his enduring commitment to CFSC’s mission.

Richard Davis-Lowell
Richard served on the CFSC board for a decade, bringing invaluable financial expertise and steady leadership to the foundation. As a former board chair and interim CEO, he helped guide CFSC through times of growth and transition, always with a focus on collaboration and community impact. We are deeply grateful for Richard’s years of service and his lasting commitment to strengthening Sonoma County through philanthropy.
