Our Mission

Our Big Goals for
Sonoma County

These goals reflect the priorities we heard from across our community. They will guide how we focus our efforts, form partnerships, and direct resources over the next five years. For all goal areas, we will engage through grantmaking, advocacy, and collaboration across sectors, setting goals for the entire community and reaching them by investing in those who have been most excluded from systems of care and opportunity.

Economic Wellbeing for All
From early childhood education to career and leadership opportunities, we will support initiatives that lead to stable employment and financial security for all.

Health Equity Across Communities
We will work to improve the living conditions that deeply affect community health such as healthy food, stable housing, and access to high-quality mental health support.

Environmental Action
We will invest in local efforts to combat the effects of climate change, protect natural resources, and build resilience in communities most affected by environmental harm.

Laying the Foundation for Change

Achieving our goals requires strengthening the conditions that allow lasting change to take root. These foundational elements are at the heart of our strategy and will shape our work.
