You don’t want to miss our upcoming Professional Advisor Seminar featuring Jeff Hamond, Vice President of Van Scoyoc Associates in Washington DC.
Jeff will be speaking about the potential for tax reform in the 115th Congress and how some of the issues under discussion could impact philanthropy and the nonprofit sector. Topics to be discussed include: charitable deduction and how tax reform could affect it; pros and cons of a universal charitable deduction; donor-advised funds and various proposals to regulate them; IRA rollover changes; proposals to change the tax treatment of gifts of appreciated property; estate tax changes; potential threats faced by endowments; and the Johnson Amendment.
