Community Foundation Sonoma County is hosting a retreat for women nonprofit leaders.  The purpose of the retreat is to connect and reflect.  Participants will have the opportunity to connect with other women leaders both during and before and after the retreat to share ideas, insights, and inspiration related to creating social change in Sonoma County.  Participants will also be guided through exercises, readings, and discussion for the purpose of reflecting on their own leadership as well as organizational opportunities and challenges.  The agenda will be developed with input from the participants so that the topics covered are ones that are meaningful to the group.

Elizabeth Brown, President & CEO of Community Foundation Sonoma County will facilitate the retreat.   All expenses associated with participation with the exception of mileage will be covered by the foundation.  The retreat will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 18th starting with a reception and dinner and will continue on Friday the 19th from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and will include both breakfast and lunch.  All participants will stay in private rooms at the Sea Ranch Lodge.

This will be a highly participatory small group setting limited to 13 CEOs/Executive Directors. Participants will be selected based on their application as well as assuring a diverse representation of fields of interest and geographies from across the county.
