Santa Rosa Grants Awarded - 2002
Artstart: $1,000 for general operations; $2,000 for the bench for the Sonoma County Museum.
Catholic Charities:$100,000 for the new building fund; $100,000 for operational expenses.
Church of the Incarnation· $5,000 to purchase food for a daily full nutritious breakfast and lunch, and emergency clothing for homeless and at-risk women and children; $30,000 for The Living Room day services program for homeless women; $5,000 for general support of The Living Room program.
DeMeo Teen Club, Inc.: $5,000 to create a three year strategic plan $467,200 for operations of Chop's in 2002; $150,000 for operations of Chop's in 2002; $500 to purchase a television for the DeMeo Teen Club; $2,500 for the installation of Michael Hayden's artwork at Chop's.
F.I.S.H. of Santa Rosa: : $5,000 to purchase food from the Redwood Empire Food Bank to provide approximately three days emergency food for clients.
Kid Street Learning Center: $500 to purchase art supplies.
Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation: $19,475 for operating funds.
Luther Burbank Rose Parade Festival: $5,000 for support of the 2002 Rose Parade.
Montgomery High School:$500 for the Fine Arts Department drama productions.
Redwood Empire Food Bank: $5,000 for the Child's Portion program.
S.O.M.E.: $30,000 for the Family Connection program to help stabilize the living situation of formerly homeless mothers.
Santa Rosa Players: $500 for the Kids for Kids program.
Santa Rosa Symphony:15,000 to underwrite the opening concert of the season.
Schools Plus:$5,000 for the 2002 telethon fundraiser.
Sonoma County People for Economic Opportunity (SCPEO): $5,000.00 for operating costs such as utilities, repairs and food, as well as program overhead for the Chanate Emergency Women's Shelter; $50,000 for the purchase of a building.
Summerfield Waldorf School: $1,000 for the Annual Fund; $5,000 for the scholarship fund.
VNA & Home Hospice:$25,000 for general support for Fall 2002.
