Healdsburg Area Grants

The vision of Community Foundation Healdsburg Area is to ensure that the Healdsburg-Geyserville area is a thriving, sustainable, inclusive community in which all individuals have the opportunity to realize their capacities. Grants will reflect this vision.

Type of Grants:

Grant requests may be for either program support or general operating expenses. A general operating grant is intended to support a nonprofit organization's mission; these funds may be used to cover an array of expenses, from program costs and salaries to administration, office expenses, technology, training, fundraising and marketing.

Areas Eligible for Funding:

  1. Health and Human Services

  2. Youth Education and Development

  3. The Arts

  4. The Environment

Value of Grants:

Our usual grant range is $2,000 to $10,000, with most grants falling below the $7,500 range.

With a history of connecting people to the land through public access and property stewardship, LandPaths recently opened a new kind of portal for alleviating our “nature deficit disorder.” When they took on Bayer Farm in the middle of Roseland, they asked, “Why aren’t we growing food on our parklands?” Their expanded vision combines the benefits of a rural farm and urban park.
