Giving back to the community — now and forever — is at the heart of Community Foundation Sonoma County. We provide donors of both modest and substantial means with numerous avenues for contributing to our community — and because we are a public charity, contributions qualify for maximum deductibility for income, gift and estate tax purposes.
Flexibility offers donors the opportunity to use their funds to improve the quality of life in their community during their lifetimes, and ultimately, as an endowment to provide support for the community into the future. The Funds of the Community Foundation, both expendable and endowment, are the major source of the grants which support the work of Sonoma County's diverse nonprofit organizations.
