Partners in Philanthropy Program
We periodically offer our donor advisors opportunities to partner with us by pooling resources to strengthen our local communities. Funding partnerships may include collaborations with us as well as other donor advisors. After careful review by our Grant Distribution Committee or our grants committees from the Healdsburg Area Fund and Sonoma Valley Fund, we identify competitive grant proposals for funding.
You are invited to support proposals that match your philanthropic interests and to leverage your grant dollars by taking advantage of our due diligence and grant funding commitment.
Funding opportunities are posted on Donor Central, our easy-to-use online service designed to support your philanthropy. These are periodically updated and, over the course of each year, cover the following areas:
- Health and Human Services, including:
- Health programs with a prevention focus
- Human Services that focus building upon individual strengths
- Ending Family Homelessness
- Basic, safety net needs such as food, shelter and clothing
- Strengthening Arts and Cultural organizations
- Supporting art and environmental education programs
- Funding environmental preservation or restoration of native habitats and the expansion of habitat connectivity
- Community Foundation Affiliates’ grantmaking serving the Sonoma Valley and Healdsburg/Geyserville areas
- Other partnership opportunities submitted for donor support
